HYDROELECTRIC POWER PLANT COMMUNICATION

Working with several clients in Rwanda, Eichler Engineering provided solutions for communication between remote sites and a national control center. Utilizing Siemens S7-1200 PLCs and IEC-105 communication, the remote sites are now equipped to transmit power generation and quality data to the national energy utility.

SHOT BLASTING MACHINE CONTROL SYSTEM

Eichler Engineering has provided several PLC based control systems for a client in California, USA. Each project has included:

• Electrical schematics and BOM

• Control panel layout drawings

• Control system logic

• Simulation of control system as part of FAT

• Support during commissioning.

SUB SURFACE DRILLING RIG

Eichler Engineering is currently providing PLC programming and SCADA expertise to the developer of a novel drilling machine based in Minnesota, USA. The solution employs Siemens S7-1200 PLCs and ignition SCADA.

SEISMIC RESTRAINTS

Eichler Engineering is providing drafting support to a NZ based supplier of Seismic restraints. The documentation provided by this work is enabling the company to expand into new foreign markets.

PLASMA CUTTING AUTOMATION

Eichler Engineering is currently assisting an Australian manufacturer in developing an automated plasma cutting cell. A Siemens PLC provides control of the cell faculties whilst an ABB robot manipulates the cutting torch.
